Action Hosting Corporation Inc. is pleased to announce, as part of its continuing initiative to enhance its value offering to the IC community, a new world class data center facility, set to launch on January 1st 2007. Our new state of art environment utilizes many of the latest technologies to provide a solution that continues to deliver a very high level of redundancy, reliability and availability in keeping with other leading mission critical facilities in North America and throughout the world.

The new Action Hosting data center is located in a building that was formerly a major financial institution computing center. It was built and engineered to sustain maximum availability of up to 99.999% thereby allowing us to bring to small and medium businesses the reliability required in mission critical computing environments. The building itself has never lost power or network connectivity since commencing operation, approximately 15 years ago and continual upgrades are made to ensure that best in class technology and processes are implemented.

All infrastructure systems within the facilities are maintained through a regimented maintenance schedule. The redundancy of the facility allows for the management and maintenance of a component of any infrastructure system (or subsystem). Should a component of any system fail, full-uninterrupted operation of the facility is maintained.

Availability Security Redundancy Performance

Starting on November 24, 2006 till December 15, 2006 and December 30,2006 Action will be conducting detail testing with our partners, in parallel to our live facities. As such there will be zero impact on the current systems and therefore no downtime. Given the magnitude of the move it is imperative that we conduct these tests to get a detail understanding of all the issues so that we can address them before switching to the new data center on January 1, 2007. We chose January 1, as our move date, since this is a global holiday and historically, a day when our facility is least utilized allowing us to address any unforeseen complications. Further we will be fully staffed 7x24 and we expect by 6pm Eastern to be fully operational with all issues resolved or we will revert back to our current data center.

During the test phase we will be conducting a series of global tests from various locations including Canada, USA, Mexico, Columbia, Trinidad, Bahamas, England, Ireland, France, Netherland, Spain, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Japan, Australia, New Zeeland, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa. These tests will allow us to minimized downtime and will allow us to communicate to you impacts if any at least 2 weeks prior to the switch. While these locations are more than sufficient for our testing, if you would like us to include your location please let us know.

We expect the move to be transparent for both you and your clients however in situations where the name servers are not pointing to Action you will be expected to make some changes. Please stay tune as we will be posting more detail information well in advance of the move.
